Let's Whip It, Baby

I thought it would be wise to start packing up the things I don't use frequently to help prepare for the move later this month, and was surprised to find that half of my belongings fit into four large boxes. Two of those boxes consist of books and DVDs.

My room looks so empty now.

I've finally been able to go through my things and dispose of a lot of clutter.

One thing I most look forward to in moving in with Lindsey is being able to relax after work, smoke a bowl, and watch a movie. That's the best way for me to unwind, and despite the relative infrequency with which I smoke anyway, it still irritates me when I'd like to burn and can't.

I'm going to buy some paint in the next few days so I can start getting the room ready to move my stuff into. I also need to set up cable and internet with Brighthouse.

This weekend will be exhausting. I work lunch tomorrow, then Linds, Renee and I (and perhaps a couple others) will be going to Pulp and getting home late late and probably mildly intoxicated. Then Loopis Lindsey and I will have to force roll ourselves out of bed for an 8:30 a.m. meeting at The Restaurant, then work a lunch shift and a double on Sunday. Yikes! That's alright, we'll let it whip (child!).

I'm kind of excited about Pulp though, the girls and I don't get to do it up very often, and I have far too many cute things and leg to show off to not let myself go at least once in a while.

Besides, what's the good in being a woman (or a man, for that matter) if you can't appreciate, respect, and love your body and yourself?

P.S. Lindsey's appointment with her rheumologist was a couple days ago, and she had been pretty anxious about dropping $70 on a doctor visit that she felt was unnecessary instead of saving the money for something it would have been better spent on, like bills. She talked to the receptionist about possibly getting cut a break on her fees, and the woman said she would talk to Linds' doctor about it. Another patient overheard Lindsey's conversation with the receptionist, and apparently could sense how upset and stressed Loopis was over the whole situation, so she wrote out a $50 check and left it with the receptionist to cover what it would of Linds' copay. The rheumologist dropped Lindsey's copay to $45, and the remaining $5 of the woman's check was credited to Lindsey's account for her next visit.

I am thrilled to hear that these kind of people still exist.

I don't know who you are, kind woman, but I want everyone to know that my best friend has renewed faith in humanity because of your actions. I wish there were more women and men like you.
