Loopis and I got the keys to the apartment today, and moved in a decent couch this girl at work was going to throw out. It needs to be cleaned, but it's really comfortable.
We stopped at Home Depot and bought seven gallons of paint. We decided to paint the whole place.
The crimson color for my room is the darkest, so we started there. Unfortunately, because we just got the keys, there was nothing in the apartment except for the couch we moved in, which means that our late start left us painting in the dark.
This is what I looked like when I started:
That excitement lasted about 20 minutes, approximately the time it took for me to remember how exhausting painting is.
I got the two adjacent crimson walls done, with the exception of the trim, and I'll add another coat of paint tomorrow, along with finishing the other two walls with Oat Cake and painting my bathroom Eminence.
I've got a lot left to do.
But with this kind of help...
...I should get done much faster.
Haha. Right.
